harry100's Prompt #517: "The Final Battle"
- - -
Ron Weasley entered their office holding a suit carrier.
"Time to go, Harry, I've got your dress robes."
"I can't. Look at these." Harry Potter said, pointing at the case files overflowing their desk.
"Hermione's orders." Ron said as if that was final.
"What is it, this time?"
"Fifth anniversary of course," Ron said. "Of The Final Battle."
Harry made a disgusted noise.
"The Battle of Hogwarts,"
"What?"
"The Battle of Hogwarts." Harry repeated. "Not 'The Final Battle'"
Harry looked again around all the case files.
"Not final, not nearly final."
That was why he had this job after all.
